Shelley C. Koltnow, JD, MBA, FACHE
Shelley’s prior experience includes more than 20 years as a lawyer and health care compliance executive. For nearly nine years, she served as an attorney at the law firm of Roetzel & Andress in Akron, Ohio. She was one of the first health care compliance officers in Ohio after joining Humility of Mary Health as its corporate responsibility officer in 1997. Her career includes roles as the vice president of legal services and chief compliance officer at Forum Health in Ohio, vice president of corporate compliance and internal audit at Porter Hospital System in Indiana, and vice president and corporate responsibility officer for Via Christi Health in Wichita, Kansas. Shelley also was the institutional compliance officer at an academic medical center in Dallas, Texas.
Shelley is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Penn. She received a Juris Doctor degree in 1989, magna cum laude, from the C. Blake McDowell School of Law, University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, where she was a member of Law Review. She received her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2005.
Memberships and Organizations
Shelley is a member and Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), and a member of the Healthcare Compliance Association. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) and the Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). Shelley also is a member of the Ohio Bar Association and has been licensed as an attorney in Ohio since 1989. She is a member of Save the Dunes, an environmental organization in Gary, Ind. She previously chaired the Audit Committee for the Heartland Region of the Arthritis Foundation in Chicago, Ill., and previously served for four years as the compliance expert on the Audit Committee of Resurrection Health (now Presence Health) in Chicago, Ill. In February 2017, she presented “Clinical Integration in a Value-Based World” at the Medical Group Management Association’s National and Financial Payer conference.

Dan Fisher, MS
Dan’s professional experience includes population health science research, compliance, and higher education. He reviewed courses co-developed by the Wisconsin Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies (CHESS) and the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) that aimed to improve behavioral health practitioners’ strategic business planning under the Affordable Care Act. Dan was a researcher in the population cohort study, Assessing the Nutrition Environment in Wisconsin Communities (ANEWC). In Chicago, he was assigned to Presence Health Partners as a Compliance Specialist supporting Shelley Koltnow in her consulting role at Presence Health. Dan assisted in evolving compliance and ethics programs for multiple payer networks within Presence Health Partners, as well as its Shared Savings Accountable Care Organization (MSSP-ACO) and Medicaid Accountable Care Entity (ACE). He assisted in developing compliance committees at three regional hospitals. He supported Presence Health Partners in its audit preparations for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Dan has supported IntraVires Health as a Consultant since 2015.
Dan is a graduate of The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va., where he received a Bachelors in Neuroscience. He organized philanthropies to benefit medical organizations such as Doctors Without Borders. He received a Masters of Science in Population Health Sciences from the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisc., where he was a member of the student association.
